This blog was created for students in the first year sequence of music theory courses. The primary purpose is to improve communication between the instructor and students as well as encourage peer to peer learning.

I talked to Sean aboot this same problem, and he told me as far as the augmented and diminished go, you can hear that the augmented chords sound spread out(almost thin), and the diminished will sound close (almost crowded). I hope this will be as helpfull to you, as it was me.
