Resolution of Tendency Tones

What is the proper way to resolve scale degree 4 and 7? which chords have both of these pitches?

With the 4 you resolve it down by a step, and the 7 is up to tonic. Both of these scale degrees can be found in the V and the iiv chords. The only exception tho the resolution of these tendancy tones is if they are in the inner voices(alto and tenor), in which case you may resolve the 4 up a step, and the 7 down to the fifth of the chord.

I think you mean vii chord. Chord seventh in an inner voice still resolves down. Leading tone in an inner voice can leap down to the 5 of the I chord.
